If you ask us we will conduct a Community Energy Outreach event for your group that will include the Green New Jersey Resource Team, a group of nonprofits that support local energy outreach events and distribute ENERGY START lighting. Email the EGT Energy Committee to arrange for a program.
In our first outreach event in March 2016, the EGT teamed up with the Ewing Park – Brae Burn Civic Association to offer a session on affordable energy efficiency auditing and upgrades as well as reasonable cost basic home repairs for all interested homeowners at the Hollowbrook Community Center cafeteria in Ewing.
- Habitat for Humanity of Trenton spoke on their affordable Brush With Kindness and Critical Home Repair programs as well as energy star housing to be built in Ewing.
- Puerto Rican Action Board -[PRAB] on Prospect Street in Ewing spoke on their home energy audit and upgrade program.
- CMC Energy Services of Cranbury spoke on their PSEG-overseen contract to perform weatherization under the income-qualified Comfort Partners program.
- The Ewing Green Team outlined an upcoming promotion of the Home Performance with Energy Star program open to any homeowner.
